12 September 2025
On Wednesday, 24 September, at 5:15 pm, in Room D 1.13 of the East Campus Lugano, USI will present the Founders' Option, a programme designed to support students who wish to start their own start-up during their studies, integrating mentoring, training and academic recognition.
The Founders' Option is aimed at students enrolled in the Master's programmes in Financial Technology and Computing, Management and Informatics, and Artificial Intelligence. The programme offers academic mentoring and targeted training in entrepreneurship, allowing students to earn up to 30 ECTS credits in recognition of the practical experience gained in developing their innovative business.
During the encounter, Professor Peter Gruber, director of the Founders' Option, will provide an overview of the Founders' Option regulations and the credit system based on the achievement of set goals. Testimonials from students who participated in the previous edition, sharing their experiences as student founders at USI, will follow.
The event will conclude with a small networking aperitif, allowing participants to connect with students and mentors and explore the opportunities offered by the Founders' Option.
