The Match project, proposed by a group of USI Bachelor students in Economics and Communication Sciences, won fourth place in the competition “Prix du Jeune Entrepreneur” (PJE) organised by the Swiss offices of the French Councillors of Foreign Trade (CCEF). The prize of 1.000 CHF and an annual subscription to the daily paper Agefi for each member, was awarded to Chiara Citterio, Giorgia Pati, Calogero Amato and Andrea Padoan during  the ceremony held on June 10th at the French Embassy of Switzerland (Berne), in the presence of the French ambassador in Switzerland, Mrs. Anne Paugam.

Match is an online portal that serves as an interface between companies and students. On the one hand, it allows local businesses to get in touch with students willing to take part in high-quality projects, on the other hand, it offers students courses aimed at developing their potential as well as improving their chances for part-time work during their studies. The project Match is currently followed by the CP Start-Up USI-SUPSI, which last year also submitted the Clara project.

CCEF (Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur de France) is a network of entrepreneurs and business executives active in over 140 countries around the world. The Swiss offices opened in 1952 and currently count about sixty members, active and honorary, in almost all sectors of the Swiss economy. Among the CCEF's goals is also to foster relationships between large universities and Swiss professional schools with French companies operating in Switzerland, providing financial support for the implementation of innovative projects aimed at the promotion and improvement of products or services in both Swiss and French territory.
