Does economic science have the tools required to tackle the issue of climate change? To answer this question and to explore other economic aspects of climate change the educational platform of the Swiss National Bank Iconomix, in collaboration with USI, has organised a study day on September 16, 2022, at the Lugano West Campus. A glance at of the subjects that will be discussed is offered by professor Marco Meneguzzo of the USI Institute of Economics (IdEP) in an interview by Iconomix.

The "Giornata di economia politica" will feature a series of workshops for high school teachers and two plenary sessions: one on the role of finance in promoting a sustainable economy, by Alberto Stival of the Swiss Sustainable Finance association; the other on aspects of energy and climate policy, by Prof. Meneguzzo of USI.
