The 7th Swiss Workshop on Local Public Finance and Regional Economics - Lugano will be held on Friday, 3 October 2025, Executive Centre Red Room, Università della Svizzera italiana (USI), organised by the Institute of Economics (IdEP) with the support of the Institute for Economic Research (IRE).
The workshop brings together leading scholars and young researchers in the fields of local public finance, political economy, and regional and urban economics, with a particular focus on the Swiss context.
The encounter aims to foster scientific dialogue and the exchange of ideas, promoting a deeper understanding of the interactions between public policy and the geography of economic activity.
